Crashes, crashes everywhere

The game tends to crash on my ipad rather often. The worst thing is, that it happens most often either when I go to the shop, or when I check my pets stats after feeding it. After getting back to the game, the stats are empty again, but the food is gone. Same with the shop, the items I purchased are not in the fridge, but the hearts I spent on the products before it crashed are gone. Its really irritating and discouraging.
The game also lacks the possibility to sell the items I have, and the possibility to store back the items from the fridge that I accidentally dropped on the floor.
